Ice Cream

1 1/2 c whole milk
1 1/2 c heavy cream
3/4 c sugar
4 egg yolks

Bring milk and cream to a simmer
Whisk sugar and yolks until ribbons firm
Temper yolk mixture with milk mixture. Then add to milk mixture. 
Raise temp to 170
Cool overnight then process in ice cream maker. 

Ideas:
Monkey Road: Marshmallows, roasted almonds, banana and chocolate chunks.
